At Randburg Teddy Tennis we teach classes at Laerskool Fairland and various pre-schools in the area throughout the year. We run 8-week term sessions and also have Holiday Camps. Children can enroll for our programme from 2,5 to 6 years of age.
Teddy Tennis is an innovative educational sports programme focusing on learning the fundamentals of tennis with music, pictures, and stories to engage the children in creating a simple learning environment. Sessions are packed full of fun ways to increase agility, balance, coordination, and speed. Teddy Tennis also increases childrens’ confidence as coaches engage with them throughout the lessons week by week.

Different age groups and their teams:
2,5 to 3 year olds – Tiny Teddies Team
3,5 to 4,5 year olds – Danny Bear Team
4,5 to 5,5 year olds – Johnny Bear Team
Teddy tennis is a curriculum based sports education program for young kids. It was very cleverly thought out and planned to the T using teddy bear characters and music to get kids to engage easier and learn quicker (using VAK learning).
It teaches kids the basic movement and ball skills as well as all the different shots used in tennis. Other than that it also teaches them to work together as a team, to be independent and it increases their confidence and self-esteem.
